Next Meeting: February 12, 2011
Talk: “The Case of the Incomplete Love Affair.”
Love affairs have a way, unless they are ‘complete’ and no longer draining energy from your daily existence, of causing one to give up on important values. How you protect and reaffirm your values is by getting complete with what your love of some person, some job, or some community actually was about. What values did it embody? By this means, you can know yourself even better and be better prepared to live a thriving life. Come to find out the most common mistake that causes us to remain incomplete.

Who we are
A moral community for learning to live true to oneself neither sacrificing to another nor sacrificing another to oneself.
What we believe
- Each individual pursues his purpose and values which result in his commitments, agreements, possessions and activities.
- Each individual to thrive must know his purpose and have the moral strength to act for it.
- Each individual to thrive must choose to live his life for himself. The choice must be available for him. Following his public declaration of this choice, his step into membership in the Order of the Heldhigh Torch, he places himself on a path to learn how to do this. He learns that a moral code of ethical egoism, grounded in rationality serves his choice.
- Existence exists and is the only absolute; consciousness is conscious to know what exists. One is accountable to what is real. It is your choice to think and you gain from its results.
- All knowledge is ultimately grounded in observation. Valid conclusions follow from valid inductions and deductions.
- The purpose of morality is for thriving – being happy and being satisfied that one is true to himself.
- Successful and vital living depends on growth. A man of action grows.
- Although we are ultimately accountable to reality, with the moral being the chosen, we are the ultimate moral authority for our individual lives.
